As long as you don't loudly hear "Move!" or "Get Out!" you should be good to go.

What are they discussing? Old house? Prior generations there?

I hear faint voices every time I'm in the bathroom. Sometimes one voice, sometimes multiple voices. This happens even when I'm home alone.

Happened to me a few times.
Once it was the wires for the intercom system in the walls picking up a talk radio show. It was barely audible when you weren't actively listening for it, but you could make conversational voices. Really weird that I lived in the house with that system for ~12 years and that only occurred 2-3 times.
Don't recall ever finding explanations for the other instances, but if you have a surround sound system, or something else with wired speakers nearby that could explain it.
