due to politics i've been to many churches in my area. there is one church that is straight up aiming to become a mega church and i can't wait to watch that pastor crash and burn over time. i literally felt dirty during that sermon

there is one local church that is growing and is based in non-judgment stuff that really appeals to recovering addicts and other people who have made poor choices. as far as i know that preacher lives as he preaches and doesn't live lavishly at all and they participate in all sorts of charitable activities

yeah i'm an outsider but i was raised in the church (mixture of catholic and protestant even) and understand Christianity from a moral and historical standpoint. living lavishly is literally the antithesis of what Jesus taught. i also believe that Christianity is a very internal and pensive religion and the new age (stolen from pentecostals and black baptist churches, mind you) style of churches literally strip any individual comprehension from the church. they just pump you up and get your energy level high and then preach prosperity gospel to seek an audience of confirmation bias. it's just manipulative, which is, again, the antithesis of finding Jesus/God

Pretty good points, but Jesus had no problems with people being rich.

Saturdays in November all of the real men I know are either watching sports center college gameday or hanging in a tree wearing fox piss perfume and trying to shoot Bambi. Whatever these goobers do on Friday/Saturday has nothing to do with being a man or being closer to God. BTW the Lords day is SUNDAY..

I attended a mega church one Sunday when living in Dallas and on the first Sunday of regular season football at noon(actually just minutes before noon) the doors of the balcony level could be heard opening and closing repeatedly during the closing of services.

I looked up and saw dudes flooding out the doors since the Cowboys were getting ready to play.

The preacher looked up, shook his head, shrugged his shoulders, led prayer, walked off shaking his head.

So do I make the check to the church or just hand the cash directly to the pastor?

We apologize but per day registrations are not available. You’re encouraged to register and attend the portions of the conference your schedule allows.

We definitely encourage you to pay for everything though.

I'd like to hear what he has to say about infidelity. If he used his own personal struggle (and what it was like) as a teaching experience, then that could be a powerful message.
Screw that. He is a piece of shite cheater. Nothing more needs to be said. I dont want a POS cheater telling me not to cheat and taking my money while he tells me not to cheat. And sorry but I have a hard time respecting people that do

I don't understand why you would have a problem with this. As long as the preacher actually gains personally from it, then he really is practicing what he preaches. There's nothing hypocritical about it.

I always wondered if the reverse atm actually existed, or if it was a joke. Now I know my answer.

healing place is probably a church that i could join in order to infiltrate, wear a hidden camera, interview some old members who were taken to the cleaners, and make a lot of money with the documentary in the end. who wants to invest in this endeavor?

How about just admitting that he is someone who doesn't practice what he preaches and is a cheating piece of shite

Bruh, he has been forgiven, just like Kim Davis and David Vitter. Once that happens, his moral authority is restored, and he can resume telling you how to live your life.

I would like to see one done at Elevation Church in Charlotte. Google Steven Furtick Elevation. Furtick has the most punchable face of all the mega church preachers.
