Was a great spot a few years ago, but it took a nosedive in the quality of atmosphere and it had nothing to do with the weather, at least for me. Once Lafayette Comedy stopped running shows there, I really didn't have any incentive to go back....

Watched the first couple of episodes last night and what struck me is how many of the people who munch peppers for funsies are addicts who now get their highs from heat.
For a local connection, Lafayette is also the setting for parts of the episodes I saw.

Had a class with John Lombardi when he was president and he emphasized that success in athletics was one of the best things a university could do to improve itself.
Teams on TV and winning means free advertising which leads to more kids applying so you can afford to be more selective with admiss...
