Pretty interesting come back here. Especially considering there is scientific evidence that shows the generation that has grown up with social media easily at their disposal has matured slower, has the highest rate of teenage depression and anxiety, and fails to consistently be able to socialize and cope with stress. These findings all show a direct correlation with greater than two hours per day of screen time. Free play has been shown to be one of the healthiest things for the developing brain. Unfortunately, kids don’t get enough of that these days.

Facebook is for committing social suicide.

Maybe he’s letting everyone know because social media is a cancer and people should try to do the same thing he’s doing.

I can't imagine being with someone who feels the need to document every single aspect of their life and then share it. I've seen my wife share things to social media only a handful of times in our 6 year relationship, and I'm thankful.

I've deleted FB a while ago, and I use IG intermittently, but I don't understand the appeal of creating an album on FB titled "Florida trip" and then letting everyone see it. Those are our times.

Congrats on your trip

Here’s a hint. Just delete social media regardless. Blowing off steam isn’t going to make it suck any less when you get back home. It is poison and has been so for many years

Good for you, OP

just remember that TD is also a form of social media and for many serves as a substitute for FB or Twitter

At least you don’t know who anyone is for the most part and don’t start hating members of your family because of how stupid they are.

I haven't created a social media account outside of Mysapce in mid-2000s. I'm 33yrs old, I really care very little about other ppl's lives.

Saying that, if it wasn't for TD, I've probably have already jumped onto the social media. Luckily TD fills that void of human connection. That and online gaming.

Check when your state residence of record has early voting for Senate and House elections...to choose the people for the big November vote and do try to vote. It is important.

Thanks just spent the weekend working at the hunting camp.... no internet. Didn’t look at Facebook or twitter once. It was glorious. Didn’t get mad once seeing all the stupid shite going on in this country.

I really need to pull the plug.
