I have all girls. 5, 3 and 10 month old twins. The twins have added some work, but it isn't hard. Just more work because you have two babies, so there is always something to be done.
The only real inconveniences to more than 2 kids so far is eating out, and vacations might be tough. Eating out we will need a bigger table eventually. We recently booked a Disney trip, and if we reported the whole family, it cut down on available rooms and pushed us into the few that had suite type accommodations.

I honestly think it will help our older two in the long run because they have had to be a little more independent than they otherwise would... although im prepared to get bent over for college and weddings

My brother has three kids under the age of 5.

Now they are planning to adopt a kid from Ethiopia.

I'm not above adopting. But I think they are crazy to even consider it.

Of well/not my life

We had three under the age of four. Basically someone was crying at our house 24 hours a day and it wasn't always the kids.

It's better now that the kids are starting to get older and I don't think I would have it any other way.

I would'nt mind having a third child, but i'm not willing to make the sacrifices monetarily to have more children.

If i lived in a state where public schools were an option, i'd have probably 4+ kids. Having to pay $15k/yr for the two i have now is more than enough, and i could care less what anyone says, i'm not sending my kids to public schools in Louisiana. Having a third and spending $25k/yr on school/summer camps is just too much.

On top of that, once you exceed a family of 4, you no longer need a table of 4 at a restaurant, nor can you have a small table of 4 at home, and you now need a vehicle with a third row.

I'm also finally out of diapers with my youngest, so the thought of starting that over again isn't a fun thought.

I was trying to tie in travel baseball and MLB baseball, but I've got two girls and one boy, so I didn't want to be disingenuous. It's hard to imagine them being a tech CEO when they're still eating Desitin at 2 years old, but who knows?

No it's not. If anyone says that they are way off

You have to pay that property tax whether you have kids or not

Ive seen the restaurant comment a few times in this thread.

Is it really that scary to get a table for 5 or 6 rather than 4?

I wouldn't trade growing up with my brother and sister for anything, we are each less than 2 years apart with myself being the oldest. Having three kids helped two from killing each other

We also took care of each other once getting to a certain age which helped out

Truth. My evil bitch sister would've killed me if my brother hadn't been around to stop her.

In June we will have 4 under the age of 4. I have aged like a president in the last 4 years

Having 3 at one time will do that. Closing up shop after this one.

No... I was literally trying to find downside of having more. There are definitely less tables for 6 than 4 available at places... but we don't go out to eat enough anymore to know for sure

It is hard enough trying to keep one in line so he isn't "that kid" at the restaurant. You get a group of kids together they are kinda like coyotes howling at the moon, as one starts the others start acting the same.
