Haven't seen Gretna P.D. around much. I don't blame police for keeping a low profile but it's nice to have them around to keep the folks from across the parish line in check.

I've seen a bunch as usual to and from work. but my work is near the hood, about 1 mile from the 1988 Shreveport race riots actually

Several of them have been home a lot. There's 3 within sight of Mom's house and at least 2 more live in the neighborhood.

Considering there's 1 street in/out of the neighborhood and all those cops with their marked vehicles, kinda think most thief's and robbers will avoid this nice set of homes.

Just talked to two that were just going through the neighborhood. Gave them each a bottle of water and thanked them.

Definitely seeing more than usual in downtown Birmingham. And normal to more around the suburbs.

Honestly, if I was a cop I’d quit. No matter what happens, it will be impossible to be a cop.

A real patriot would have blown at least one of them.

Harahan never sleeps. Brake tags, registration, 3 mph over the limit, teens with weed. God’s work!

We have had peaceful demonstrations for the most part and our cops are cool. We don't have poser cops. We have cops that care.
