As an upright biped with opposing thumbs, I like to leave such behavior to our four-legged friends. I also don't lick the newborn clean or lick its a-hole in order to stimulate a bowel movement.

My buddy's exwife would freeze dry it for you and make little pills or make it into steak. Supposedly it helps with milk production if the mom consumes it.

No, but they offered a few options to us at the hospital. They can make it into a smoothie or a pill and “allegedly” it helps with postpartum depression or something.

No, as consumption of human flesh (ie cannabilism) is generally taboo in most developed societies. I like the argument that "well other mammals do it". My rebuttal is to point out that my dog licks also licks its own arse (and likes to sniff the arse of fellow dogs) but that doesn't translate quite as well to human practice.
