I’ve been to some just to witness the crazy. I might die from curiosity but definitely not for some stupid political movement.

I personally protest by not wearing a mask at work. That count?

Oh wait...

We did a walkout in high school but I don’t remember why. That should count

No.

I have too many responsibilities at home to take a day off and go hold signs and stuff. If people have the time - I see nothing wrong with them going. Maybe I’ll do that in the future but for now, no.

Well I did one a protest against the city of Houston's ban on feeding the homeless
The first day the law went to effect we fed homeless people at the Houston library and actually had filled out bail bond card before we fed the homeless in anticipation of being arrested..HPD blocked all the intersections around us ,, lets the news media in and then chat there and talked to us,, like they were security for us

with red light cameras we actually notified the police we run running the red light cameras at an intersection at 2:30 in the morning in order to get a ticket

but the camera company would not process the ticket in fact for many months if not years afterward whenever I would run a red light camera anywhere in the State I never once got a ticket

I have not and never will. Have to much to lose to get arrested. Without doing anything illegal you’re just standing there yelling and screaming like an idiot and nobody really gives a shite.

I did. At the Riverwalk in Lake Charles. I was working for some Colombians and they gave us the day off if we went to the protest for an hour. They were protesting against the guerrillas fighting in Colombia (the FARC or The Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia).

I came up with a chant they wasn't particular fond of but it took them a while to figure it out with the language barrier:

F-U-C-K the F-A-R-C

No, I am one who also protests through my wallet. If more would do so, it would be very effective. Money is what gets businesses attention, not marches.

Can you be serious for once?

So Houston banned people from feeding the homeless? Was it illegal for someone to go into McDonalds, buy a hamburger and give it to a homeless person?

If so, if caught, how would someone be penalized?

Friend,

I attended a prayer vigil where we prayed for peace at the time when the Iraq War began in 2003. Every Sunday before covid Mother and I attended worship where we glorified God and protested against sin. Mother and I used to picket at places where life was ended.

Yours,
TulaneLSU
