Coca Cola and smokeless tobacco

I don’t get my coke I get headaches and I start feeling anxiety. Smokeless tobacco it’s not physical but mental.

Cocaine and alcohol checking in. Yes it most definitely changed my brain. I couldn't stop on my own. I had to be physically separated from drugs and alcohol for 90 days just to have a chance. Sober 1.5 years right now.

I quit the cigs a little over a year ago. Every time I wanted one, I would ride my wife’s peloton. Haven’t wanted one since, but I love watching people smoke.

Yeah, about ten years ago I had legit back problems after a bad fall. I was prescribed pain pills and took them as prescribed for a year. Did not realize I was addicted until I was finally taken off them after healing from a procedure and going through PT. After, realizing how bad I "needed" them I found a natural herb called kratom that was used to deal with opiate withdrawal. Kratom indeed "helped" but soon realized I was now addicted to this "cure". I finally made myself quit cold turkey after several years. Was not easy but now have not touched any opiate for 6 years

When I was in my 20’s, I had a gambling problem. The rise of poker around the country had me hooked. In 2013, I lost all my money and had to sell one of my guns. I snapped out of it and I rarely go now. If I do, I never lose all my money. I found the discipline to walk away and I never gamble with money that has to pay bills. Those were tough times.

I’ve tried to quit smoking this year, but I’m not winning right now.

Smokeless tobacco. I lived my life around it. Avoided going places where I would have to go without a dip for too long.

Quit cold turkey 7 years ago. Really sucked for about a week. Was a mind frick for much longer than that.

Now I rarely think about it.

Not comparing it to hard drugs, etc. And I definitely have to keep an eye on my alcohol intake.

David foster Wallace is known for writing the most ridiculously difficult book to understand outside of religious texts and also writes some pretty crazy shite on the topic of bing eating shite food that you would probably like/possibly ' bate to

did the gum too, for a short while...the gum is expensive like cigs and every bit as addictive.

You guys should try uncle Bucks five year plan. It was something like cigarettes to cigars to a pipe, to chewing tobacco to gum.

I’m pretty addicted to my phone - which I never thought I’d be

This site doesn’t help bc I like the playful banter.

So I’m slowly trying to wean myself - not doing too good of a job
