re: Spam Calls Are OOC

Posted by AuBeerStud on 12/30/25 at 12:56 am to
Long time ago, I read that if you pick up and remain silent, their computer will think your number is bad. So it takes your number off the list.

Not sure if true but I’ve been doing this for years and I only get one spam a month now.

I remain silent and wait for the caller to say hello.

You are right, the trades are a young man’s game as far as getting your hands dirty. If you want to be successful in any business, you move up. There are very very few white collar jobs where you graduate school/ training and continue doing the same thing the rest of your life and make a good living at it. Most jobs you work your way up. The trades are no different.

You understand what I’m saying man!
quote:

You sure do think highly of yourself for not being needed for 7 months straight

I think you’re confused, its more like 4 months, and I consult during that period.

Well yes, I do think highly of myself. Anyone that has worked their butt off to achieve success should.

Isn’t this the OT? Where people brag about their butlers social status?
quote:

this is retarded and you’re too retarded to notice it. Sorry you work for a shite company

Actually all the hours I worked really paid off. I earned my worth and moved up the ladder into management. I didn’t have kids then so it didn’t bother me. I’ve never been scared to work.

Now I’m salary and I’m home for dinner 99% of the time. They only use me when they need me. In fact, I’ve only worked 5 days since Thanksgiving, but I still get paid my full salary. I’m sort of like a consultant for the next 4 months because of weather.

It’s not a shite company, they treat me great. Nice salary, paid medical, $700 monthly truck allowance, company truck to take home, great 401k match, free use of their suite for concerts/pro sports, last year took me on a week long deep sea fishing trip on a yacht in Key West. I could go on.

You see, while guys like you are scared to do a 16 hour work day, guys like me go out there and get the job done no matter how long or what it takes. You are the 90% that wouldn’t survive in my industry because you would expect the company to give the rewards before you’ve earned them.

Actually I’m very respected by my coworkers. Everyone requests to be on my crews or be one of my main guys. I lead by example and I preach that ,”nobody is too good to do anything at our company”.

That’s why I choose to still be involved in the physical labor, even though I’m not required to do it. People respect seeing the guy in charge of the operation using a shovel and helping the lowest level guy achieve a task.

The fact that you're scared of a 16 hour day, and don’t respect a leader doing so, tells me something about you. In my line of work, we call that being a pussy.
I get it man. I’m a super for a construction company. Didn’t finish college but make around 200k a year due to having a killer work ethic.

Only about 10% of people are mentally able to do a majority of trades work. And it’s getting worse every year. Only around 5% are the real deal.

I’ve had to do 16 hour days, 7 days a week. My record is 57 days of work in a row. Mostly at least 14 hour days. The last time I called in sick was 2005.

People thinking that trade school will make you a bunch of easy money are in for a huge surprise. It opens the door, but you still have to be a badass to achieve it.

Many pencil pushers these days say, “I should have went to trade school”. Many of them don’t understand what that truly means.

They shouldn’t, many can’t. Unless they have the mentality to be able to be knee deep in others people shite, spending weeks in 20 degree temperatures with a shovel in hand, or many other uncomfortable situations, they should stick to pushing pencils.

In my line of work… we praise the strong, attack the weak to do better, and destroy the lazy. The disgruntled can contact HR, because they’ll probably fire you.

Bottom line… you have to have a killer work ethic to succeed in trades.
I sold my calls right at open. As soon as it started to drop hard I bought $90 puts for cheap and made bank.

I love NBIS as a company, but at this point, it’s more about playing the market.

I wish it wasn’t this way.
I feel like we’re all holding our breath for the next 12-36 hours
To the fricking bar boys!! We’re back!!!!
I find it strange that we’re up so much and corweave and Iren are down.
You know guys, the sky isn’t falling. Earnings week sucked balls. So did the week before. Did I lose money? frick yeah I did.

But it wasn’t our company. It was the market, along with some shithead named Micheal Burry. Also our competition having a shitty CEO and a company totally in debt.

But we learned the company we believe in is projected to earn way more earnings than previously thought.
The future is bright.

So go sit in the corner of your room and listen to the song “everybody hurts”, then pull up your big boy pants and get ready for the next opportunity.

Because I guarantee 6 months from now, the thought of you being upset that this stock is $85 will be laughable.

AI is this decades bitcoin, and you guys are involved in the infancy of this technology. I truly believe this.

Even GrandPappy Buffet agrees with this idea by buying into Google. Also, options can be great and also suck. We just got reminded of that.

I see napkins and Earls in our future. Keep the faith brothers.
We’ll all be on IT Dawgs yacht one day! Till then, we fight the good fight.

Viva NBIS!!

Why is corweav still green but we’re tanking like hell?
Good things happen when you drink heavily.

I’ve seen it happen!
It’s a new day fellas!

Screw Micheal Burry.

Let’s go!
All the Data Centers got crushed today.
What a great buy opportunity right now is
We can ride IT_Dawgs yacht while sipping custom made drinks specifically named for us.

Pull the bitch right up to Earls!
That’s it!!!! I’m going to Earls!!!!

I live in Michigan, so give me 18 hours.

Save me a seat!!!
