About 2am

Buddy say " let's go to my friends house and get some weed."

So we do.

Drive up to house with no lights on. He says "come on." We walk around to a back deck and enter a living room.

He says "stay here" and walks down a dark hall to his friends bedroom. I start looking around in the dark to check my surroundings.

I see a light come on under a door off to my right. Door opens a touch and a head peeks out. Door shuts quickly. Light goes off.

Ten seconds later, a skinny meth head looking dude with no shirt on comes storming out the door and puts a gun in my face. He yells "who the frick are you! " a couple of times.

My friend comes racing down the hall yelling the guy with the gun name and possibly keeping me from being shot.

About 5 or 6 years ago after a Troy football game. We dropped my brother in law off at his fraternity house where he'd left his truck. Then we were going to swing by the bookstore and look around before heading back to Birmingham. I pulled up to the intersection in a line of cars with my right blinker on. There were cops directing traffic. When it was my turn I started to turn and the campus cop jumps in front of me and draws his gun. There were no signs that it was one way after games, plus it had been about 45 minutes since the game was over. There were dorms up that road and this was the only way in. There were also no barricades like they do at the other end of this road. I roll down the window and tell him were going to the bookstore. His partner yells out "not today, you're about to get shot!" I put it in reverse and then when I was back in the intersection I punched it out of there. We went to the local police station to file a report but they were campus cops. We followed up on it some but the university swept it under the rug. I found out from my brother in law about 6 months later he was fired because he was working security at a sorority party and pulled a gun on a girl. Just some power hungry campus cop and I'm glad he didn't decide to fire at me for simply trying to make a right turn. I was younger and stupid and had I been in my truck instead of my dads little car I might have ran him over.

Yes.
Got off work one night when I was still living with my parents. Got out my car, turned to grab something out my console and turned around to be greeted with a glock 19 staring out me. I had my envelope full of cash and my phone in my bag from work in my car. Gladly gave him my wallet, the only thing in my pockets. Dude, made off with my ID and about 20$ in gift cards, I didn't have a credit or debit card or any cash in my wallet. I still laugh about how pissed he probably was.

A buddy of mine on leave from the navy, and his wife were visiting us during the Christmas holidays several years ago, when he and I decided to make a liquor run. When we returned we thought it would be funny to make noise at one of the windows of the ground floor apt that we lived in to spook the ladies. Our apartment was on the corner of a main street in BR and as we were making noise and laughing at the ladies in full panic this unmarked car skids to a stop and the guy says he's a cop, and has us against the wall of the building with a automatic pistol at the back of our necks. We tried to explain we were joking with our wives, and he asked for I.D. to prove one of us lived there, and I gladly showed him mine, then he left. I don't know if he was a cop or not, he never showed me any I.D. to say he was.

Yes. I was 20ish.

Ex's step dad went bonkers when ex's mom wanted to leave him. He was walking around the house with a rifle. I told him to "relax - let's talk about it"... he pointed the rifle at me.

Popo was called at some, he got cuffed and stuffed.

I don't recall exactly how I got away from the business end of the gun (I think I just kind of kept backing away), but I look back now and think "boy, that would have been a shitty way to go."

I have, but something else messed me up worse. In 2003, I did plenty of convoys in Iraq, most of which were as the rear vehicle gunner from the Turkish border to Tikrit. One time, as the front vehicle travelling through Mosul, we passed a man sitting in a lawn chair off to our right. I focused on him, but did not swing my M249 in his direction. From the corner of my left eye, I saw a boy of 9 or 10 approach our vehicle. As I shifted focus to him, I saw he had what appeared to be an automatic pistol in his hand, which he had raised to point at my company commander, in the passenger seat. Without thinking, I swung my 249 towards him and had already put it on fire when I heard the kid say "Bang, Bang!".

The sound of him saying that saved that kid from being cut in half. I wish I could have stopped to impress the significance on that fricker in the lawn chair.

Yes, by an a-hole St John the Baptist Parish deputy back around 1978. His partner was frisking me for weapons and I guess I made a wrong move. He cocked that revolver to my right temple and told me he was going to blow my head off if I moved again.

That dude was a dick. Good times.

Yes. Was shocking. When I was about 18 we were hanging out in a parking lot when this guy rolls up fast in a car jumps out, pulls a gun and starts pointing it in all our faces. Asking which of us was johnny(Johnny was there). Nobody says anything then our one crazy arse friend tells him put the gun down and he'll show him who Johnny is. Dude actually puts the gun in car and walks back over to 7-8 18 year olds who hate him. He got ganked pretty good then arrested for it.

Once for me. I was a senior in high school and we were riding around with a freshman who was our little buddy, kinda hazing him. We were throwing shite at mailboxes and destroying them, typical stuff. Well we gave the freshie a bowling bowl, and next thing you no the dumbass freshman throws the bowling ball through a car window

We stopped at a gas station just up the road to get some beer, and next thing you know the guy with the busted out window comes screeching in the parking lot and pulls a gun on us. We freaking floored it and got out of there as he fired off a few rounds
