Yes, by a handful of policeman at a road block. My car and I fit the description of an alleged murderer. I drove past a scene with a dozen cop cars. I slowed to look. 3 mins later several cop cars flew past me. I rounded a curve and they had the road blocked with shot guns, rifles and handguns drawn. I stop and get out when ordered. They tell me the deal and search me and my car. They then apologize for the ordeal and let me go. Happened that someone in a 70 Mustang with long dark hair and mustache had been fingered as the killer at a crime scene. And....there I was...

I was working for an insurance company and our office was on Fla Blvd across from Cullen's Babyland. It was about 12:30 pm during a weekday, our shopping center was packed because Blimpie was next door and they were always busy at lunch. One guy runs in our office and puts a gun to the head of our receptionist (her first/last day by the way). He makes her get up and walk to the back. From where I'm sitting, I can see him and he can't see me, he might have been 110 lbs and about 5'6. So I'm thinking hero stuff when he walks by my cubical I'm gonna crush him with a hammer I had in my desk drawer. But then a second guy comes in with a gun and thankfully, that thought process goes out the window. They round us all up (7 people) and bring us to the back area of the office. The first guy puts the gun barrel right under my left eye and says "we want the safe". We didn't have a safe so I tell him and just wait for the gun to fire and blow me away. He believes me and asks for money so I walk to the front desk and hand him the cash box that had maybe $75 in it. They take me back to the back where they start making us lay face down and duct tape our hands and ankles, every one of us. They run out and were never caught. Scariest moment of my life.
