Went on ambulance run to schizophrenic girl's house. She opened door with shotgun pointed at us. We asked her to put down and she turned gun on herself and shot herself in stomach. Later died

Living with a friend for the summer and I got to the house one night and nobody answered the door but I knew he was home, his brother always left his window unlocked so I raise the window and the curtain fly's back and I am looking down the barrel of a .44

When I was a younger (teenager) some kid in the neighborhood came outside with his dads shotgun (his parents were at work) and pointed it in everyone's face thinking it was funny.. Someone punched the frick out of him, kid told him parents he was punched for no reason and caused a huge feud between the two families.

Four times. The first time was for wearing a Raiders hat when I was 14. Some guys pulled over and pointed a shotgun at us and told us to take them off. We complied. That was in the early 90's when everyone thought they were a gangster. The second time, I was robbed trying to buy an ounce of weed when I was 17. Third time I was doing something I shouldn't have been doing, I'll leave it at that. The last time was during my brief career as a door-to-door salesman in Atlanta. Dude was serious about no soliciting.

Twice.

Growing up as a kid an elderly neighbor pulled a .38 revolver on myself and other neighborhood kids for kicking a ball into her yard. My mom called the cops. When they arrived she said we were lying but the cops wanted to search her house anyway. They found the loaded revolver in her living room.

Second time was when I was a teenager. I was driving down Florida Boulevard late at night and another car pulled beside me and the passenger pointed a pistol at me. I drove like hell to the Sherwood Forest police station and they took off.

Yes, shotgun through my rolled down pick up truck window. Too tired and drunk to care or be upset at the time and the fella had a good reason for it.

Some guys left a passed out drunk 14 year old girl on my front porch steps of the house I rented after they took her to a party somewhere, I guess they were too afraid to face her father..... Well no one warned me so I asked her about 1 am if she was capable of giving me directions to take her home. So I did. Her dad was sitting outside with his gun, he was a country boy and I might have done the same. Once his girl got out of my truck and I told him what happened he took the gun off me and let me leave. I was telling the truth, just taking the kid home so her folks wouldn't be worried, but heck I was a drunk 19 year old so I doubt he believed me. Glad he didn't shoot

Yeah a friend of ours pointed one at us. It was after something we called a case race.

He ended up in the room with some girl and we were messing with him about it. He wasn't happy and pulled a gun on us.

Oh Jennifer Jean.

I managed a pizza place in the late 90's. Late one night this young guy walks in and puts a .22 rifle in my face. It was a bolt action like the one I have but had no magazine in it so I knew it wasn't loaded so I wouldn't open the register. He tried to smash the register open with the gun, pushed buttons trying to open it until he got frustrated after a few minutes called me an a-hole and ran out the door.

It was finals week 10 years ago and I was returning from a night of studying to my town house (near GSRI). I pulled into the parking area where my town house was and a jeep with no working brake / tail lights was stopped in the middle of the way, blocking my way to get to the parking area closest to my place. I sat there for a good minute or so, thinking "wtf is going on???" Finally, 3 urban youths get out of the vehicle and begin walking in the direction that I need to go. The jeep drives off and I pass up the 3 guys and go park near my place. As I'm exiting my vehicle, they are passing by next to me. One pulled out a gun and pointed it at me. I instinctively put my hands up and said "take whatever you want." I took my backpack off and they told me to empty my pockets. I put my phone (flip phone), wallet, and keys on the ground. One of them said "we don't wantcha keys." That was kind of them I guess..., They took my wallet, phone, and backpack (which had a newly purchased Ipod Video and all of my study materials for finals) then they told me to lie on the ground and they took off. When I knew they were out of sight, I grabbed my keys, shouted several expletives, and jumped in my car and tried to track them down. I caught up to them down the road, and they stopped short of a stop sign ahead. I cautiously kept my distance, but I really just wanted to get a plate #. They sped away through the stop sign and I followed onto Gardere. They made it to Burbank and went east and were weaving in and out of traffic, so it was hard to keep up. I'm almost to where Burbank turns into Siegen and I finally catch up to what looked like a jeep with no tail lights. It turned out to be some other car that had one or both tail lights out, so I lost them. I went back to my place, called the cops, and they showed up pretty quick and took a report. I told them about the tail lights being out and the make and model. 2 hours later, the cops call me and tell me they found a vehicle that matched my description and the suspects got out of the car and fled. They caught two of them and brought me there in the police car to ID them, which I did. They didn't find any of my stuff.

I returned home and realized how F'd I was for finals without all of my notes and books. The next morning I get a knock on my door very early, at sunrise. It was a cop and he had my backpack. Apparently those idiots ditched it right around the corner of my building!

A week later, the cops tracked down the last guy and found my phone at his place, and returned that. Somebody also found my ID in a parking lot and mailed it back to me a week later.

I consider myself extremely lucky that I wasn't shot or hurt. It still haunts me to this day...all the what-ifs. Ever since then, I'm way more observant of my surroundings and never exit a vehicle if I see sketchy people around.

Yes. Let me find the thread I posted this in.

ETA: Thread may have been whacked.

ETA2: Found thread LINK

Going to be brief. When I was around 11 years old there was a heated argument at our household that led to a bedroom closet. When I heard a scream and a begging of mercy, I ran to the closet to come face to face with the muzzle of a M1911A1 about 1 foot from my head. Scariest shite I've ever faced. Was able to talk the person to put it away and didn't experience anything like this again.

Twice in Montgomery, AL (frick that place) and once in Chattanooga. Luckily all three times, I had nothing in my wallet and the thugs ran off before realizing it.

Yup. More than once but the first time was in high school. For some reason, we used to enjoy going downtown and trolling the hookers. We would get drunk, pull up and make a deal and then follow them around the corner or to a hotel and then drive off. It seemed funny at the time. One night I guess we stayed in the area too long and pissed one off. She told us to pull around the corner and when we did her pimp shove what must have been a .999 MAGNUM revolver through the window right in my face and said "I suggest y'all leave the area." The funny now part is that the driver couldn't see what was happening so he was giving shite to the pimp while the gun was in my face and I was yelling at him to STFU and drive.
