The commercialization of the birth of Christ. Too many people fall into that crap. China Mart was putting Christmas themed crap out was before Halloween and already had black Friday yesterday.

With the OP. Thanksgiving gets so disrespected that it is legitimately disrespectful. I don't even think about Christmas until after Thanksgiving.

I love Thanksgiving and fight against the Christmas intrusion. Several of my friends have articulated the same. You arent alone.

Yeah I been seeing christmas lights up for 4 weeks now. I have never seen so much this early. I know ever since covid things have changed but it's been getting earlier every year.

Thanksgiving and 4th of July

You mean the 27th of November and 4th of July? The 25th of December does have the stress factor, I agree.

Nothing wrong with some low key fall wreaths until December.

My neighborhood in east Dallas has been loaded with Christmas lights since Halloween. Disgusting.

Hell, Walmarks had Christmas stuff out big time back in early October. And, yes I agree, it seems Thanksgiving has been pushed to the side for big money Christmas spenders.

If you put up Christmas decorations before the Friday after Thanksgiving you should be jailed.

Tell that to my wife. I had to pull 5 large Rubbermaid containers out of the attic strictly for Thanksgiving decor at my house

Christmas is the most magical time of the year. I maximize my time enjoying the light, tree, decorations. Jesus is lord and I love everything about Christmas.

Thanksgiving is a day where we shuffle around town to eat too much and deal with family we don’t care to see the rest of the year.
