Guess you haven't heard about the Jatsco transmission problem in those? Nissan cvt transmissions are the worst.

That must be recent or a local issue... we bought a 2011 Sonata 2.0T Limited and had it for 9yrs.

No major issues, some warranty stuff done but nothing cost more than similar work on our 2000 Honda.

i know labor rates and parts have gone up but...

Honda, but you'll pay a premium.

Minivan if you want cheap and okay reliability. Absolutely no cool factor but off the charts pravticality.
