how hard is it to wear a shirt with a collar and long pants for a holiday party?

Dressing up to shop at Walmart doesn’t make it any less trashy
Actually, it would.

I’ve always got a kick watching old football clips and seeing how the fans dressed. Pic is from ‘50s. For football! Different times…

Mostly because the home I'll be going to is owned by snowtops who have the heater on 80 when it's 79 outside. I dressed in shorts, a Hawaiian shirt and sandals, I was still uncomfortable. The kitchen was like a hell.

It’s the ‘work from home’ epidemic. We’re all so productive looking like slobs tho....

Don't think many in that pic are dressed particularly nicely. It's cold and they are wearing coats.

When I go somewhere with a gathering I will wear a collar or something but lately its just been the same immediate family that I see multiple times a week so it was stretchy pants and a Saints polo for me.

You probably still looked like a hippy to anyone who loves her.

Back then the only presentable clothes a man owned was the formal stuff. Guys didn't have a vast collection of t-shirts or what we call casual wear.

The tie is indicative of effort though.

lol, yeah I guess most guys didn’t have an entire dresser drawer set aside for t-shirts of their favorite sports teams and half a dozen jerseys hanging in their closets.

freaking this. I will be wearing a dress to my MIL'S house tomorrow because it is cooler than wearing anything else. It will be hell level hot in that house.
