looking on social media this morning, most of what i see is people wearing jeans or shorts and t shirts (or a female equivalent).

how hard is it to wear a shirt with a collar and long pants for a holiday party?

we think that you can just change your gender… we have a very long way to go to be dignified.

My family plays sports and does an obstacle course for Thanksgiving

I’m not dressing up for that

In America 2021 you can describe yourself with something other than he or she, and wear pajamas to walmart.

The guys wore slacks and either long sleeve button down shirts or sweaters. The ladies wore dresses.

The pals of mine that showed up for dinner last night dressed surprisingly well. I threw a quarter zip over a t-shirt with some jeans and called it good, but they showed me up. I would have accepted PJs for their company but the effort was noticed and appreciated.

No they’ve completely given up on dressing
Nice (or at least appropriately) for any occasions.

See air travel, mass (holiday or weekly), funerals, awards banquets, graduations, grocery shopping, restaurants, etc.

Coincidentally, they’ve also given up on appropriate behavior and any sense of decorum.

This is what you consider dressing nice?

Yep. Had the family over yesterday. T shirts and shorts. I even threw on my fancy fishing shirt. Everyone had a blast. Days are getting shorter especially with family. That’s the least of my worries is how you dress to come to my house.

Saw a guy at a fast food place with his private hanging out. Even being decently covered seems to be too much to ask nowdays.

You dress how you want to dress and quit worrying about what other people do.

I dress for comfort, which means I’m not wearing long pants, I don’t care how cold you think it is.
