So I’m going to the dealer tomorrow to order a F150 and I just want to know y’all’s experience with it. How long did it take? Did they try and bambleboozle you at signing? Is there a security deposit?

You are going to get taken to the cleaners and the only recourse you will have is bitching about this decision 6 months from now on OT Lounge.

Make sure you choose the 92 months $1,000 a month payment option.

I ordered a f150 the second week of January and received it the first week of July. Didn’t mind the wait, and still received good trade in value on my old f150. I paid a $1k deposit. My deal was below invoice pricing and price protection from ford increase(ford increased f150 price around $3k between when I placed my order and the date I receive it).

I ordered a Lariat in Feb, and it’s just now being built.

Not all dealerships will allow X-plan. If they don’t.. walk. Also watch out for add ons like bed liner, tint, etc. You will show up to pick up your new truck, and it will have 2,500 in add ons already on your truck that you didn’t agree to.

If I were buying again, I would order one from Granger Ford in Iowa. They will do 2-3% below invoice and ship to you.

be prepared to pay full sticker retail plus an additional dealer markup add on fee of $15k-$20k just to get it.

all dealers are doing this

if you arent rich with frick it money to burn because you have too much money, go buy a used truck with 100k miles or less or keep your old truck

As the poster above mentioned, check out Granger Ford outside of Des Moines, IA. That’s were I ordered mine. 3% below invoice with price protection and any incentives you can get from ford. No local dealer will touch this deal, and some will say it’s not possible.

If you want it shipped, you will have to arrange shipping on your own

I ordered my wife a new expedition max end of March and we just got it last Wednesday. They locked me in on price bc the price will go up when they send it to u. My trade value was good. Only thing that jumped was the Interest rate. No deposit needed and my dealer told me if I didn’t want it when it came in I wasn’t on the hook bc there would be no problem selling it.

Also make sure u order the rubber floor mats. I did it with mine.

What package u getting? I read today the standard option for the 2023 f-150 tremor is a 5.0 V8 now so you can put a winch in the bumper.

I'm not a doucebag. I own a Nissan 4x4 and handle my personal stuff. I have a boat and trailer and I probably haul more stuff than you'd ever consider. The Japanese make better trucks, but go ahead and replace your entire interior and tranny buying that 150 and get back to me.

My dad ordered one last year with the tow package. The ready date kept getting pushed back, up to 8 months, then suddenly it was ready in 4 months. That was back when they were low on chips or whatever

Ordered an F-450 in Oct no build date yet.

Ordered an F-350 in Feb. just got build date for august.

Gave deposit on an incoming Raptor in November, still waiting on it.

It’s pretty much a mess on the Superduty stuff and Raptor but regular F-150 seems better.
