What do all these people in TEXAS do to afford all these homes?

The amount of people working from home is VERY high.

Of course two back door Roth’s and a mega back door contribution all maxed out in Feb. that timing sucked.

Same. All retirement accounts maxed but I got lucky and put them in money market. They will see some action tomorrow

The topic is even sillier than the thread arguing the reasonableness of the $750k starter home.

Considering this board is dedicated to financial success, it amazes me how uncomfortable people get when topics like this are brought up. So uncomfortable that folks convince themselves people are lying, and cannot comprehend how someone could accumulate wealth quicker than the average population.

It's absolutely reasonable for white color jobs in big cities, blue color business owners, tech workers in startups or MAG 7, dentists, doctors, etc etc to have a $3M net worth by 45 or even sooner.

Does anyone have recommendations or leads on finding a deer hunting lease within 3-4 hours of the DFW area?

Most leases worth joining seem to be scooped up by word of mouth, but it's been difficult to make those connections since Im new to the area. I've tried facebook groups and timber company websites, but the pickings are slim by the time they are listed publicly.

I would be happy to join a club just to help with doe control just for some meat in the freezer at this point!

Any tips or leads are greatly appreciated!

How do you like the Marlin? I’m considering buying new.
Why on earth would you not immediately bring the dog to the emergency vet?? Accidents happen, but not doing everything you can to save your pup, especially when you were the one to leave the bottle out, is mind blowing to me.

I have one in .308. It’s finicky with ammo. I can stack 150gr federal fusion, but everything else is hit or miss. I like the fusion so I’ve kept the gun.

Check out the bergara b14 Facebook groups for real world feedback as well.

It was at $118 in March. It can easily retake that level.

I would love to hear your logic on this one. I’m sure you have more insight to offer than simply assuming historical price is an indication of future price action.
Elon Musk pulled major orders recently. And NVDA reallocated chips to other customers. Revenues will drop. Margins will be further constrained.

And let’s not forget the looming fraud allegations which are not simply going to go away. Buckle up
I sold, and took a six figure loss. I didn’t have accounting fraud in my bingo card, but there is too much uncertainty. With news of NVDA reallocating chips to other customers, others will be quick to take market share if they can.

If the outlook changes, I can always ride the wave back up.

You dropped $240k into SMCI?

Don’t kick a man when he’s down.

I’m still holding shares. Some part of me thinks if they can find a way out of their current situation, SMCI will run up and run up fast. But I’m very nervous that where there’s smoke, there is fire with these recent allegations ans delayed 10k.

Time will tell.
This has been a rough ride. Im sitting on 400 shares with a cost basis in the 600's. Im selling calls to earn premium while I wait, but Im thinking there will be more bad news in the near future. Where there's smoke, there's fire. Im starting to think it may be time to cut losses and move on...

Besides the tech stocks and NKE what is everyone else buying?

SBUX is another one Im looking at. Between NKE, DIS, and SBUX, they cant all be value traps right? ..... right?

ETA: I think banks have plenty of room to run if Trump takes office and regulations are loosened. I expect them to run up into the election.

I’m always floored by people making 200k/year yet they have a mortgage and car payments

This would be expected for someone who financed with low interest rates.
I ordered a Lariat in Feb, and it’s just now being built.

Not all dealerships will allow X-plan. If they don’t.. walk. Also watch out for add ons like bed liner, tint, etc. You will show up to pick up your new truck, and it will have 2,500 in add ons already on your truck that you didn’t agree to.

If I were buying again, I would order one from Granger Ford in Iowa. They will do 2-3% below invoice and ship to you.

Can you explain the reasoning behind never paying more than the minimum note?

Investing your money rather than paying off a low interest rate mortgage will always win in the long run.

Im looking to buy a Winchester M70 as well. Per a dealer in the Dallas area, I was told that they would have to place an order with Winchester and I could expect to wait 12-18 months.
