Hate to laugh at others’ misfortune but the journalist layoffs are hilarious

This laid off journalist named Chloe had this to say, then twitter laid into her useless studies so she locked up her account:

Now all of these journalists are upset about not getting their PTO/vacation days after being laid off. I feel really bad for these great contributors to society

The damage to journalism is completely self-inflicted. If you want biased opinions, fake news, reliance on "unnamed sources", political activism in writings, etc...etc.. there are hundreds... no thousands... of Free blogs where you can read that kind of stuff.
Except for the quality of the website you are looking at many times you can't tell the difference between news or opinion in the NY Times, Drudge, and some shitty blogger.
There are very few people remaining that think the news is anywhere close to unbiased. It never was but at least they seemed to be pulling for America. No more. Totally self-inflicted and deserved.
