Daniel was a sissy 30 year old playing a high school who continuously got his arse kicked. No one wanted to be him.

We had a girl in high school who did karate. She would come to class in her uniform. Not a pretty sight.

Most of the kids taking karate have social problems and their parents put them in karate to prevent them from being bullied.
Karate does not turn kids into nerds karate appeals to the parents of nerds.

It's a mixture. It also depends on the different schools.
Some schools are a little soft and students will lean more to awkward while the ones that do more fighting will lean more to athletic students.

I signed up for karate at a young age. I didn't last long. I had to quit because I couldn't break a board with my hand. I forget which belt that was. I think it was yellow.

Somewhere, Bruce Lee is sad that you don't think he is cool since he hailed from the 70's.
And Chuck Norris will just beat your arse. Because that is what Chuck Norris does.

When I was a kid, if you weren't athletic enough to play sports, you did karate. Now if you're not athletic enough to play sorts, you do cross fit. Same nerds, different time.
