Has good and evil in movies been reduced to nothing more than race and gender?

I just left Godzilla. Monsters fighting, shite like that. Whatever.
But is it an accident that practically all of the bad guys are white and led by a white male and most of the good guys are various shades of brown and led by a black, seemingly lesbian woman?
I mean this can't just be happenstance, right?

The entertainment people are activists first and foremost. They not only have said as much, they sure as hell better say it or they will be ousted.

I hate it when historical stories get turned into movies with an injection of diversity just for the sake of seeming woke.
Like I bet most people don’t realize that the true story of Godzillla involved only Japanese people. But here we are, adding in whites and blacks to the story, just to appease the activists.
It’s sickening.

It started in the 90's when the narrative was that blacks were represented in media/entertainment as bad etc, thus black children were being programmed to also be bad because that's all they see.
That's when this all started. And yes it has gone way past thoughtful liberal sensitivity and way out into clown world.

Mainstream Movies in general are terrible these days along with mainstream music. There still are good movies and music but you have to look for them and do your research.

I realize that. I'm actually big into Japanese culture. The history of the Kaiju film is actually very interesting.
The original studio producing Kaiju films wanted to open up to a western audience. Unfortunately this led to some bad films like Godzilla (2000).
