what fricking Godzilla movie did you watch? The good guys were a white male and his white daughter while the bad guy was a white woman.

You could argue the main bad guy was the white mother along with the "save the earth" liberal-type group. The white male was the one leading the good guys basically. The black woman was just the leader of the security team. There wasn't one instance of in your face "girl power" in that movie.
Your point stands for other movies, sure. Godzilla isn't one of them.
Same thing I said. The evil people in that movie were environmental eco terrorists co-led by a woman. Black folks were basically on the sidelines.

I can understand advertising towards the gays. They typically have a good bit of disposable income.
Advertising for the blacks is just virtue signaling. Overall they have as much buying power as the very elderly and aren’t prime advertising targets.

Hollywood knows there will be a lot more criticism if they portray black folks as bad or dumb. So they avoid that by using whites, because there will be few complaints.
