also Buenos Aires is in full lockdown (Phase 1) and has been since April.
Just recently they lightened restrictions to allow runners to run on public sidewalks for exercise, but only early in the morning and at night. i shite you not.

No. Brazil is in worse shape than we are.
But that's about it.
But that's about it.

i think a better stat is we've tested so much we can determine a more accurate level of infection. i believe europe is still mostly testing only symptomatic people
also, Europe engaged in super costly measures to have the government borrow trillions to pay wages directly to workers, so their economies have been paper tigers for months. this allowed them to shut down societies without the immediate economic impacts, but it's very likely as soon as these measures are lifted that spread starts again (like in SK, HK, etc.).
can the EU afford indefinite salary subsidies? unlikely

but what point are the people using it trying to prove? We've blown past their infection numbers per million.
Surely, when you say this, you know as well as everyone else that you can't compare our "infection" rates to those of other countries that aren't testing as extensively as we are.
So what point are YOU trying to prove?

And we are testing 100x more than almost every country.
No we aren’t. At least not once you normalize for population.
Seriously? Is the next phase of the big globalist conspiracy that it’s still everywhere like it is here but they simply stopped testing for it?
Countries in Europe are actually started programs with paid for testing for millions to try to target and pare back simmering infection clusters

Florida is averaging more deaths per day than all of the EU combined, despite the EU having 20x more citizens than Florida.
It's not just testing numbers. Per capita, we aren't testing more than most other developed countries. We've just done a shite job of contact tracing, quarantining, and taking precautionary measures to help mitigate the spread.
This testing argument is just ridiculous. Yeah, we're testing 700k per day (despite results taking upwards of a week) but we also have a shite ton of people. You have to look at per capita, not totals.

A lot of countries that aren't currently testing at a high rate have effectively contained the virus so there's no big need to test as many people.

when the benefits run out in Europe, they will do just as bad of a job when the spread starts again and their economy is in the balance
just like in SK, HK, etc.

The answer to your question is no. There are countries that are now doing pretty well. They are the ones that didn't flatten the curve and that got hit hard. They took their licks and are now past it. There are some US states that fall into the same category.
Basically, the lockdowns fricked us. Extended the pandemic and pushed the spike into June and July. A failed and futile strategy, and it should have been obvious from the start.

Ummmm, no.
Here's yesterday down the Champs-Élysées in Paris on Bastille Day, which is worse than I've seen in any American city, or maybe the French Police are just giant pussies.

Did Europe have massive daily protests the last month and a half in every major city?

Dude, you're wrong according to this. You made this same mistake a week or so ago.
As of the 12th, which is the most recent update they have for USa testing, the USA is testing 2.01 tests per thousand compared to Italy's 0.71. Next closest from the big boys in Europe is the UK at 1.59.

When H1N1 was here. Nobody panicked back in 09. Obama didn't declare an emergency until six months into it. It certainly wasn't an election year. But now covid started showing up right in the beginning of an election year.
I don't think it is a coincidence. I have never seen an election with this much going on and I believe it has been planned for quite awhile.
Many powerful individuals who have the worst interests for this country are manipulating the events so far this year.
