China is typically not honest.
The statement it’s not a bioweapon is based on genetic analysis from non Chinese scientist.
I heard the same. But more recently, there have been news reports of our intelligence community believing that it could have come via the Wuhan research lab. The details provided in the articles make it a plausible theory.

IMO, we have not seen anything yet. If you think COVID-19 is bad, buckle your seatbelts.

Its no hidden secret that if you want to hurt the US you attack our economy. You drop a bomb and that only has an impact within a certain radius of where it was dropped. You attack with biological warfare.. That shite hits everywhere.
I am not saying the coronavirus is a biological attack on us because I have no evidence, but I bet this is giving other countries some ideas.

We've had biological weapons for decades. 100x more deadly too. We have stuff that will make your blood boil and kill you in under a minute.

I'd much rather a biological than an all out nuclear war. We are talking hundreds to thousands of nukes.
Posted on 4/10/20 at 9:30 am to terriblegreen
But nuclear war is also suicide for the aggressor even if it destroys your target.
A biological weapon could be released in the US without anyone knowing shite for months. And would be a lot harder to trace it back to who did it.

No. Effective protective measures against nukes are orders of magnitude more expensive or unavailable than aegis against biological or chemical weapons.

Groceries are accessible, travel is convenient, most people are still working.
How are we not handling it?

Chemical weapons are the best out of the triad

certainly more long lasting

Am I just to accept without question that it is a coincidence that of all the places in China for this to start it just happened to start where China has its bio research facility centered on coronaviruses?
I’m confused by the selective scrutiny however.
You can’t trust what China says, but you choose to believe they are telling you the truth that it started in Wuhan? Would you still believe it was the starting point if the lab wasn’t there to focus your conspiracy attentions? There are a lot of indications it has been spreading in rural China and the source was an infected patron/shopkeeper(s) of the market.
Not that the virus was started there, just that a lot of people who were infected were also there.
It could have been 3-4 booths from the same remote rural village that drove in on the same truck.
Also, it’s worth noting that you are wayyyyyy overstating the facility’s focus. Yes, coronavirus research happened there, but it is far from the primary focus of the place. The headliners would prob be whatever is in the BSL-4 segment of the lab.
I’m sure there are coronavirus papers you could have made a connection to in every major city with biomedical/university research accruing.
It’s not the smoking gun coincidence you make it out to be.
In any case, question all you want. But you seem to be taking the lazy way and going: “Well, I don’t understand the evidence who it’s not there as far as I am concerned.”

I’m just saying corona wasn’t man made...because it wasn’t lmao.
So you are the expert on COVID. Let me ask you then, it is completely impossible that it accidentally escaped a Wuhan research lab? Like there isn't even the slightest chance that it possibly got out? Not saying on purpose, even by accident.

Of course it’s “possible” but that doesn’t have anything to do with what was said.
It feels like y’all don’t care really about what happened as long as you can blame China it’s okay.
Well be relieved. China suppressed the initial story. So you can always blame them.

Being researched in a lab =/= being man-made.
Why is it such a conspiracy for china to study the virus tree of a virus that caused SARS, and MERS that is endemic to that region? It would be absolutely idiotic and counter-intuitive for the chinese to not study corona.
Yea its technically possible the virus got out of a lab, but It’s Occam’s razor that a new strain of corona developed in an area where new strains of corona have historically evolved. especially in conditions of wet markets.
Hoofbeats = horses. Or wings flapping at night = bats, not test tubes.

I think they are both worse than the media and politics

Bat strain that then underwent major mutatation to completely change host vector to pangolin and then completely change host vector again to human with separate major mutation. And then develop and maintain a new ACE receptor binding for human to human transmission, that's a shite load of mutation....which....Um...is... not the occam's razor hypothesis for this thing's origin.
Occam's razor states that it escaped from the laboratory 100 yards away from your multi-step "random" mutation wet market theory. The only BSL 4 lab in all of China... right across the street. Which was already publishing data on human ACE receptor binding in novel coronavirus strains. Huh, funny how that works...
That's Occam's Razor for the origin of this, bro.

Mammals are a natural reservoir for corona. It’s not at all crazy that they can infect a given mammal given wet market conditions. It’s literally prime conditions for species jumping. Given the conditions It’s a matter of when, not if a new human pathogen will evolve. This is Occam’s razor.
Corona strains are endemic to china. It would be idiotic for them to not study it given their recent SARS outbreak. SARS and MERS were recent novel coronavirueses. And guess what... ACE2 receptor binding is also.... their entry route... so again it would be idiotic for china to not study SARS virus tree, which happens to infect humans via ACE2 route. Especially when their region historically has novel corona viruses that evolve and infect in the same route. . It is a coincidence that you are tagging on conspiracy to.
