No offense but you should really let your mom take care of this. Does not sound like you need to be driving anywhere.

I hope James gets his Rico back. The OT is dependably heroic when there is a chance to save a dog.

We cant find him tonight, but we know where he’s staying at least. It’s in the open area which I think is a pipeline before the Michoud exit heading toward Nola. I’m heading back to BR, and James is going to go back with food and water.

If anyone tries tomorrow, be VERY careful and bring food with you. Maybe shake the bag at him. He will take off in the woods if you walk closer than about 20 yards

Bro, that is not a safe spot at all. I love my animals too but live to fight another day and go out there with some backup

I don't want him to think I'm not doing everything I can. I'm going home to charge a phone and get supplies now.

I spotted him twice between 10 and 1030 am, today and yesterday. He's hunkered down for the night. Get out there tomorrow morning and you'll find him. Go home, it's not safe out there.

I can’t fault him, I would camp too. It may be the only way to be sure—tent with food outside

That exit is closed and there weren’t any signs of bums at least.
