I have. I was in my 20's. We dated for almost 4 years off and on. When we took a break again, we started to see each other again. I truly thought she was the one and then out of nowhere she told me she met another guy and that we were done. I was so depressed, lost 10 lbs, didn't leave my bedroom for a week. I'm dating an awesome girl right now. It will get better. The mistake I made after we stopped dating was I should have deleted her from social media. Make sure you do that. It will help you heal. Also like others said, go to the gym, attend social events, go fishing, live life like its the next chapter you are about to rock.

You have no idea what will happen in future. My first serious relationship ended when I was 24. She was my highschool sweetheart. It was not a perfect relationship and had long since run it’s course but damn if it didn’t hurt like hell.
Within that year I met several new women, and that was fun. One of these woman would later become my wife and now we have a lovely family with 2 daughters and a puppy dog to boot.
