Never had an issue. I heard American oil workers get a hard time from Canada Customs In Edmonton and Calgary. “Why does your company need American workers and not local Canadian workers?” How the hell should I know.

This all says way more about you than Canada.

I went on one about 25 years ago that departed from Vancouver. My brother was with me. He had a DWI on his record. We had no problems.

Better to be safe than sorry, bring copies of court docs with you to plshow if requested.
I went a few years ago, flew into Calgary, was picked out at Customs and questioned about my record. I had read that it could be an issue, so I brought copies of my court docs and dismissal with me in my carry on. Showed ‘em the paperwork and was good to go.

Should’ve gone out of Seattle.

Seattle cruises stop in Victoria, British Columbia as required by US maritime law.

Good to hear a.country enforcing their borders and keeping out criminals. Sounds like we could learn a thing or two from them on that front.

Right just did one. All I had to have was a passport. We didn’t get off the ship.

Oh yeah, the one that I'm supposed to go on from Vancouver to Seward, Alaska is a Royal Caribbean casino comped cruise.
My lawyer here referred me to a Canadian immigration lawyer in Toronto. I'm going to give her a call next week and see if I need to do anything now to prepare. If it costs me a little money, then I may do it.

I wasn't caught driving... found in my garage after I'm assuming I drove through the door. I wasn't out drinking, but we think there's a possibility that a medication change reaction may have caused my blackout.

They searched my car and cut me loose.
They didn't pull the blankets off the seats apparently.

If you’re trying to work there, a DWI is a non-starter. If you’re simply traveling, it’s hit or miss.

Just a pending DWI charge causes issues crossing the Canadian boarder? fricking hypocrites!!!!

Idk. Indians are sneaking across that border into the US.
This is more about people passing through legally (or trying to).
