I appreciate what the medical field does but seems a tad excessive.

I heard we’re getting rid of Veterans Day in November and replacing it with Heroes Day. I think they’re replacing the cannon blasts with 21 syringe salute.

I'll sign off on this when they stop charging $800 for 2 ibuprofen.

Why not? Then lets start giving all service people the same. When will it stop?

Nurses and teachers supplement their pay with complements and excessive back patting on social media. I thought everyone knew this?

That petition was probably started by a doctor with a ton of student loan debt. Gotta say, not a bad move. Will never happen but shooters shoot.

They signed up for this.

Military knows what they’re signing up for. Possible war.

Teachers know what they’re signing up for — crap pay.

Farmers know what they sign up for — long days, hot summer harvests in our case, iffy yields and prices.

Truck drivers know what they sign up for.

See my point?

Doctors but especially nurses are heroes! They’re working countless hours treating the 4 people that are sick in their hospital!!

not only that, but how would "we" administer forgiveness for those actually putting themselves at increased COVID risk? I don't see where we're enlisting anyone with "health care" qualifications to fight COVID.

Also, the ones who are working right now are actually among the least financially affected by COVID. Meanwhile, millions have been forced into unemployment and no-revenue business situations.

My podiatrist is going to love this. He’s been sheltering in place on his houseboat.
