Last 5 presidents ranked by deficit
This is an interesting take on things. Obama increased debt the worst by s huge margin. Its not even close. But who was the next in line?
Reagan and Bush I. Both in a virtual tie for increasing debt. And to the original point, it's these Presidents that the boomer generation has hung their hat on claiming how good they were for the country. The numbers tell a completely different story.
Clinton was the best in this study. But then that will be explained by him piggybacking off of the previous 12 years. Or that was the reasoning in the past anyway.

The Best Way to Measure Debt by President
You can measure the debt by a president by summing up his budget deficits. The president is responsible for his budget priorities.
The deficit by president reveals how much deficit was in each year's budget.
I think it's clear who the ignorant shite is for sure.

It wasn't boomers who raided the Social Security funds, it was Washington politicians.

Sound like AOC.
And to think your group are the future leaders. Stop looking back and move forward.

And that just is the official on the books number. That doesnt count all the shady shite Bush's CIA was up to with people like Ollie North.
According to the internet Millenials range in age from 39-23. You should be aware that a very large portion of our military and all government agencies are being run on a daily basis by them.
Should they be held accountable for current foreign policy? Domestic policy? Ecomonic policy?
Are there not millennial hedge fund managers? Investment bankers? Are they making sound financial decisions with the fiduciary duty they have?
You think your generation is going to completely change foreign policy and make the United States a pacifist country?
I don’t worry about this country or even your generation because I have faith that by and large we have bright people of all generations that move this country forward. Complainers and doomsdayers as yourself rarely move the needle. Too busy whining about how unfair it all is. Whoa is me, Oliver North is the boogie man.
As Will Wade would say (a millennial mind you) Boot Up.

Well, first of all, I'm not a millenial.
You may not worry, but guess what, the debt doesnt care if you worry about it or not. At some point, the imaginary dollars are going to run out and someone is going to be left holding the bag. You can only QE so much fake money before it collapses.
And you completely misunderstand. Im not complaining about how it isn't fair. Life ain't fair. Im just simply pointing out that boomers are often full of shite and made huge errors (or purposefully shortsighted goals for profit) that the next generation is going to be paying for for the rest of their lives. I'm just providing counterpoint to the circle jerk blame the millennials that is often on here.

No they aren't.

That are running those institutions, again not really.

Hopefully, but the Boomers fricked it up so bad it won't be able to be done in my lifetime I suspect.

I like how you used a corrupt coach to try and prove a point though. That takes a level of irony all in itself. (And yes, I'm sure we cheat too. The irony was just too delicious not to point out.)
And Ollie North was no boogeyman. He was just a flunkie dumb enough to get caught. Imagine the ones that didnt get caught.

Yeah that was the start of it. But the 80's were totally boomers and the 80's set this current path in motion moreso than JFK. Hell, JFK was going to wrap up the Vietnam fiasco before he got assassinated. Then you get the warhawks like Johnson in and that's all she wrote.
When the puppet Reagan was put in place, that really accelerated American interventionism.
Possibly one of the most historically ignorant posts I've ever read. And that's saying quite a bit.
JFK was one of the most hawkish presidents in US history. His foreign policy was completely based on Paul Nitze's NSC 68 document, which is comparable to the later work of Paul Wilfowitz.
JFK is -literally- the guy who initially sent ground troops into Vietnam in the first place. The fantasy that he wanted to end it is based on ignorant fanboys misinterpreting one document that represented one of many contingencies.
Im not knocking it, mind you. His aggression was necessary at the time. Khrushchev was desperate to prove his commie street cred.
Johnson may have ramped up Vietnam but he also oversaw detente with the USSR.And yes, he was a crappy president.
If you think interventionism ramped up all that much with Reagan, you need a few history lessons in 20th Century US history and foreign policy.
Reagan actively sought out backchannels to Soviet premiers to control nuke proliferation. This is all thoroughly documented and publicly available material (some of it recently so).
By the way, how did the US create global communism or violent jihadism?
Thank God in heaven we were (are) here to stop that evil shite which requires frick tons of bombs and guns.
