Place blame on those boomers who:
Voted for Lyndon Johnson
Decided to listen to Dr. Spoc about corporal punishment
Think that busing actually integrated public schools
Thought it was a humanitarian idea to hand a woman a check if she had a child.

However: Boomers who voted for Ronald Reagan and supported Donald Trump are trying to right the ship.

Get onboard instead of bitchn about 'em.

Someone doesn't have a good handle on economics.

Anyway, I suppose my point was the internet/social media... and I'll add to that cable news shows and AM radio, has made everyone think the sky is falling.

It gets clicks, viewers, and $$.

I just think y’all whine too much and expect way too much to be given to you instead of working for it

$22 trillion in debt is the biggest legacy of Baby Boomers imo.
Actually, that started with Wilson, accelerated a great deal by FDR and exploded after that by LBJ, before the Boomers became a factor. Of course THEIR cultural norms, and one-liner, whiny, retorts to everything from which they and the American Left have never matured is part of our problem.

Your own link clearly shows that, you just don't understand it.

I don't see anything near 2%, outside of 1 year under Reagan, in the years I've referenced. Even then, that's just the Keysnian approach to things, which is highly suspect.

So they won WW2 and kept your candy arse from speaking German. And exactly what do you feel like they did wrong, not using what CSNBC or the LBQTQRSTV news told they did? Just curious how a 20 year old knows so much about how to fix the country all of the sudden, and using the 20 Something “way” to go about fixing it? Please explain your platform please. Can’t wait to hear this total bullshite.

Go back to school dumbass. Or better yet don't speak again.

Right on cue.

Econ is more bunk than most courses. Feel free to prove me wrong. Keep thinking your spending and creating debt is helping things.

I don't necessarily agree with you, but Roger definitely does not understand economics while telling people to take an econ class.

Supporters of Keysnian economics are usually clueless. In fact, they're usually completely unaware that alternative models even exist.

Boomers who voted for Ronald Reagan

I know many young folks and some old folks believe Ronnie was good for the USA but that was all marketing. The oil shock of the early 70's and the one that followed in the late 70's was something Nixon, Ford, and Carter could not overcome. I lived through it at remember folks stockpiling canned good in preparation massive erosion of US currency value.

Regan was the face man but what that administration really did was load up on debt then spent like drunken sailors to buy their way out. Sure it was a reasonable short term fix but long term it was the beginning of the end of US power. Petrodollars now trade in multiple currencies when for at least a century Petrodollars were the monopoly of the US dollar.

Bush Sr was better president than Ronnie but even he could not get a second term with the debt Ronnie saddled us with. Old school Republicans like my old man were fiscally conservative and that could not be said of Ronnie as no true conservative would have agreed to all that debt. Bush Sr was more fiscally conservative and the better president but Ronnie was more charismatic so he is seen as being better.

I thought Ronnie was the worst Republican POTUS in my lifetime (and I am old) until Bush Jr came along and reset the bar. trump has set that bar even lower. Politics aside, the Republican Party post 1980 is no where near the Republican Party of my youth and it is sad to see it fall so low.

It amazes me how the average Republican views Trump yet has not actually been around the man. I can tell you firsthand, he is not for the American people, nor has he ever been through 70 or so years of family interaction. Getting votes by making Americans choose "us" vs "them" or making them fear before making them communicate is not a person who has the best interests of the USA as a whole.

Republican or Democrat (or third party) should actually represent the voters and not just be shils for the spin doctors who manipulate their images.

Better to get on board of a politician who actually represents the interests of the people over the corporations and the special interests.

Better to get on board of a grassroots politician who looks and speaks more like the actual folks who vote.

Better to get on board of a politician who goes positive instead of negative, fact over fiction, and transparency over fear peddling.

If you really care about your country find a real candidate as in a population of over 300 million we should have better options than...

Bush Jr vs Kerry (both were Skull & Bones at Yale)
Trump vs Hillary (neither were good leaders this country needs)
