Hurricanes can be very unpredictable. Hopefully this thing stays away from NOLA.

That mayor sounds like a fricking idiot. "We could mandate, but people need to make a decision on their own"

Do they build everything out of concrete and up on stilts down there?
No. You should see downtown. It's a sitting duck.

If you're in the uplands of Corpus Christi, you're good, apparently. Geesh.

I'm watching it in St Landry, looks pretty bad so far being on the east side

Corpus officials are ENCOURAGING residents to leave? Wow, they must be pretty prepared for a major hurricane. Do they build everything out of concrete and up on stilts down there?
Most of Corpus is up above storm surge levels, especially considering the barrier island protection, and should be designed to withstand category 5 strength winds.
That said, I'd be getting the frick out.

Meh, I still wouldn't risk being stranded in a town with no power and damaged infrastructure.
Go to San Antonio for a few days. It isn't worth the risk.

Some people aren't gonna leave unless you make them.

Anybody else get irrationally angry at these models?

They should all evacuate to Mexico then let Trump rush in and build the wall before they come back
