euro has it getting back into the GOM mucher further south which gives it a lot of area to spin back up....was hoping it would enter the GOM past houston...

How far back in the Gulf does the Euro put it? If it is heading NNE then it should run back into the Texas coast pretty soon. If it is more NE then it would probably make it closer to the TX/LA border.

So it's supposed to make landfall, then make a u turn back into the gulf and head back NE?

Man the gulf is like PEDs for hurricanes. Storms just explode when they get into the gulf.

Euro has been pretty consistent at throwing it back into the gulf past few days so I'm not too surprised by that. The Euro model can really frick off.

i mean previous run had it getting back into GOM at around 1009 this one at 972 is a whole nother monster.
