TX is proactive. They'll be fine. Lots of resources in TX and they have always invested heavily in infrastructure
Of course because people have never been stuck in 100 mile long traffic jams trying to escape a storm headed toward Texas only to run out of gas before they could escape. Invest all you want your not beating a hurricane. Before you say something about New Orleans investment wasn't the problem there. Building a major city inside a bowl was the problem.

What do you mean by this? Are you referring to the potential intensity?
Pretty sure that's what he means. These readings we are seeing give indication Harvey is gonna be a Cat 4 at landfall or damn close.

Ya think?

Dude, please. I simply made a statement about conditions at my house at this time. I have not made any estimates or projections on totals. That's up to the people in that profession. Thank you for your input anyway.

Please refer to products from your local National Weather Service office and the NOAA Weather Prediction Center for more information on the flooding hazard.

My parents home is about halfway between those two bottom homes. Although, I thought George Strait sold his home? Will have to follow up with my parents.

The NHC has really shifted the projected path to the west with this advisory
