We get a new tiger, on a solar eclipse, then get a hurricane bearing his name

Hurricanes were a lot more fun before wife and kids. Instead of just worrying about grilling and beer supplies now I need to plan for fans and cell phone chargers.

Shingleton doubled down on his Big Bend track. He will be a weather god if it verifies.

The GFS has Harvey fricking around between Corpus and San Antonio for roughly 130 straight hours.

The rainfalls on that run ought to look biblical

The GFS has lost its mind. It was falling apart on the Mexican border yesterday then pushing into the gulf this morning and now back into Texas.

Harvey dipping into pure jet fuel with minimal to no shear. Very concerning. Bona fide Category 3+ environment

Heath Morton here in laffayette KLFY just showed it stalling and then trough to the north picking it up Monday and bringing it back into gom and into sw La. Possible hurricane force winds Tuesday.
