Most recent recon pass found pressure of 978mb, slightly higher than the 977 it found an hour or so ago. That may only be temporary, but it is a welcomed bit of relief. The first pass thus far where the pressure was up.

Yep. You can see on the water vapor loop that Harvey is trying to cycle out some relatively drier air that infiltrated the center from the southeast as it wrapped around.
This may only be temporary, but it is better than the previous trend.

I have an aunt and uncle in both palacios and rockport. My mom tried calling both but no answer. Guess they are busy boarding their houses up

Welp, according to Levi Cowan from Tropical Tidbits, that 978 was extrapolated from onboard the recon aircraft rather than from an actual dropsonde. Actual pressure could be a slightly different.
