Best part is in subsequent interviews she never apologizes or regrets going over to Vietnam, the statements she made, and hanging with the NVA. She's just mad about the bad pub with the gun "go to my grave regretting ever getting photographed sitting on the anti aircraft gun." Piece of shite.

LSUWoodworker, have you ever actually read why Kerry was awarded the Silver Star?

...or are you just one of those guys who hates our military and men who served in combat?

How Rove used Kerry's military achievements against him is probably the biggest political coup of all time. Especially considering that W basically dodged going to Vietnam.

I'm going to the hospital in a while to visit a friend who was residing at the Hanoi Hilton at the time of her "visit," I'll ask him his thoughts on this

I'm just stating the fact, not suggesting it should be taken at face value.

It's ironic that the same billboard that would flash, "got chlamydia, it happens" ads now has a "Brunch with Jane" ad.

In RVN, my dad was a USMC 0341 from '66-'68 and spent most of his time in the northern part of I Corps, where they fought both NVA and VC. Served in Desert Storm too. In reference to Jane, I remember him telling saying something like "my c0ck don't vote." I know he would have hit that given a chance. ..."one for the Commandant...urgh...one for the Corps...urgh..."

Huh?

She spewed ignorant propaganda that was fed to her. Was she privy to intelligence info? Troop locations and battle plans that she gave the NVA?

Barbarella? Barbarella ordered the Code Red?

If you ask Vietnam vets the majority of them will have more respect for John Kerry, John McCain, and Al Gore than George W. Bush, Dan Quayle or Donald Trump who did not serve in Vietnam.

I’m kind of suspicious of that commendation, and so are a lot of the guys that were there with him at the time, but at least he put himself in harm’s way, unlike Bush, Cheney, Quayle, Trump et al

I knew a few Vietnam vets. Fragile. OF THE ONES I HAVE MET they decry any attempt to downplay the “war.” If they did not they would be admitting that their buddies, family, and friends died in vain. Desert Storm vets, too.
