When you're young, you are sometimes afraid to question a doctor, who represents authority to you. When I was 19, a doctor (not gyno), touched me inappropriately. I wasn't sure, at first. The nurse had left the exam room and I was fully dressed. He was talking to me about what he thought the cause of my discomfort was and casually ran his hand inside my blouse, running his fingers back and forth. I thought he was continuing a part of the exam and it took me a moment to realize what he was doing. I walked out in shock, said nothing to anyone and walked outside and burst into tears. It sounds like nothing to most of you guys, but it was something.
Later, I told my mother and my friends, but mostly made a joke out of it. I often wondered how many other young women in Lafayette were subjected to this creep. I should have said something.

We had a girl at our school whose both parents were gynecologists. They were pretty cool. The mother promised to hook up all the girls In our class with free birth control and the father took all the guys aside before we were about to go to college and gave a speech about "be careful where you dip your sick," and to "be weary of ROTC prosititutes."

I never examine a female, other than basic physical type stuff, without a nurse in the room. And I leave before the nurse does if they are disrobed. I go out of my way to only expose the area being examined and to do it incrementally. That way only small areas are exposed at a time. It also helps to explain what you are going to do and why. There are some pervs out there in every area unfortunately.
