My wife, no pics, is the sweetest lady I've ever met. So, I take the "bad" with the extremely good. But, she fills every closet and drawer in the house (that is not "mine") to the maximum capacity. She has a large walk in closet filled from the floor to the ceiling. And our 2 extra bedroom closets. And any other space she can find. And she doesn't shop for cloths that often, she isn't a big spender. Its just boxes, and boxes of boxes, and glassware, and just stuff. We cleaned out the pantry the other day and thru away a large black trash bag filled to max. We cleaned out half the kitchen cabinets and threw away another 2 large bags. Same in utility room. Our house is not cluttered at all, thats one "rule" I made when we first got married, cause I saw it coming. Its always clean and neat, I help. We have a small hall closet full of candles and a six foot section of the utility room shelves full of stuff like that.

Is this common among others? If she dies first yall can come to a very fragrant bon-fire.

Somehow Mrs. STLDawg is the other way and I have to talk her out of throwing away perfectly useful things.

To make the house “cozy,” every inch of surface has to be decorated with lamps, candle holders, photos, vases, memorabilia, ceramics, pottery, or coasters. Each bed requires four functional pillows and at least three decorative ones. The ottoman has to have two trays on top that have to be removed to use it as a footrest.

Yep. Every single cabinet/closet/drawer must be filled to maximum capacity +20%, such that it vomits contents out onto the poor bastard who opens it.

My wife has an entire giant closet in the office filled with gift bags, bows, and wrapping paper. How many damn gift bags does one person need? She also has all of her drawers in the dresser and her half of the walk-in closet filled to capacity with clothes, yet all she wears are yoga pants and tank tops. I don’t get it.

Yes and she also loves to keep things on flat surfaces. Drives me nuts but I put up with it.

My wife sees extra drawer/cabinet/floor space and thinks that means she has to go buy something to put there

Also, the dogs sleep their asses off inside for 9 to 10 hours a day while we are at work and never piss or shite on the floor. She's convinced if they don't go out every 15 minutes while we are home that they will piss or shite on the floor.
