I grew up with some ladies like these. All over 40, all good careers, all educated, and all unhappy. A few have adopted or gotten pregnant and have baby daddies. They were always adamant about being independent and they are.

The modern lifestyle is fighting against natural instincts.
Were fighters, doers, creators and have been reduced to replaceable worker drones. The life Hollywood sells goes against our natural instincts which explains the anxiety and depression.

Well I'm no evolutionary biologist but the overeducated white women with no kids and a hot body at age 40 is almost purely a western phenomenon and we're being outbread at a pretty alarming rate.

White folks are checking out. Will be a minority in this country in a couple of decades. There is a disconnect between educated and intelligent.

I dated a woman in her mid 30's for a little over a year who got mad I didn't get her a mother's day gift. During the argument about why I didn't get her a mother's day gift I said "well, you aren't a mother." To which she responded "I'm a dog mom!!!!"
This woman had a degree in political science from UCSD and Masters from Stanford in Latin American studies and was fluent in both Spanish and French. Quite possibly one of the most brilliant woman I've ever met and yet so stupid.
She's a US diplomat working in US embassies and will eventually help shape US foreign policy. It's terrifying.

Others have answered your question, but to add: She's single. She is still looking for a man. She's not having a child at 39. Even if she meets her mate in the next 6 months, gets married six months later, then starts trying to have a child, she could easily be in her early-to-mid 40s before she ever gets pregnant - if she can even get pregnant.
I think the guy's point is that these women probably don't want children, but they are saying that to attract a man that's probably looking for a younger woman that can have children.

ETA: I’m not a MGTOW guy. I got married young and think most people would be better off doing the same. I just think women looking for children at 37+ were sold a false dream.
The fear of commitment to a genuinely good partner in the hopes of finding perfect is a huge issue with young professionals today. It’s not just men or just women.
I’m thankful I married young and had kids in my 20’s. Now in my 30’s and my kids are in elementary school I find it enjoyable (unless I want to strangle them). I do not want to have an infant and I’m only 36

there's context to that in the idea that Jaffe and Planned Parenthood did say "these are just ideas for willing people" so i don't want to say this was a concept forced on people, but there was definitely an concerted effort to push it for most of the latter part of the 20th century.
