I don’t understand people who claim they want kids one day but are in their mid 30’s. Call me crazy but I don’t want to be pushing 60 or older by the time my kids graduate HS.

There’s this ideology that once you have children you can’t do anything. Which is just an excuse if you ask me. If you’re selfish or scared just be a man and say that.

I think a lot of it is more "not quite ready to give up your career" because pregnancy is that for women in competitive careers.

I don’t see an issue with this and with modern medicine and technology has come far. I see a lady like this and think working professional and realized time is running out & they are now ready.

Hopefully these ladies planned accordingly and have frozen eggs or have done their research. I have plenty of friends having first kid at 31-36 when they think they are ready.

Your overall argument for this is going to create a massive group of women who are childless and alone.

That wasn't an argument, just a speculative assumption

Those populations are pretty fanatical in how they curate their lives, and I'm saying it wouldn't shock me if this was a box on their life progression list like other things.

Hence the feminist lie that having a career=happiness. It's bullshite and the vast majority of women should just have babies when they're young enough to do so even to the detriment of their careers.

I am not sure which population you are referring to, but the problematic one of childless women who are reaching the point where reproduction isn’t viable is growing, and growing fast.

Along with the growing disassociated male population, this is a major social problem.

Look I get it, but this is pretty fricked up.

This is kind of like telling men they should exclude themselves from the dating pool if they're not over 6-feet and making over $150k year. Dudes bitch about that all the time on here while thinking similar comments to what I quoted, without realizing the irony.

Family support is big, and, again, I imagine lots of urbanites moved there for jobs and aren't near their family anymore.

There's no irony to it. Women like that are a dime a dozen. Easy to find and easy to have. It's nor my fault that a these highly educated and successful women slept through their freshman year health class.

Truth is, American women are a shadow of their former selves, but then again, so are American men, so I guess it fits. To be quite honest, if I were a young man today looking for a spouse to build a forever stable relationship and family with, I would be traveling to South America or overseas somewhere. The feminist stain in this country is everywhere, and it’s just not very attractive at all. It’s destroyed women and families as a result.

I don’t know. Maybe you get lucky, but the odds are not in your favor anymore. They’re against you really.

I may be in the minority, but the older I get nothing is better than a cougar or milf I see out in a summer dress that takes care of herself.

it's a viscous cycle with middle/upper middle whites, especially. my extended family is full of this.

family/dad has a little success. kid goes to good college and gets good job. moves to big city not knowing many people/anyone. gets married has kids. doesn't have the network of babysitters, cousins, aunts and uncles, etc. end up basically alone in the city minus a few friends/couples. plus it sucks that the kid doesn't get to grow up around their real kinfolk and family friends.

i moved around as a kid (but spent a good bit of my childhood around family) so maybe i'm just extra sensitive to this stuff .

On a side note, this is an interesting phenomenon because it's never really existed during our evolutionary process.

I will probably be dead before we can conclude anything, but it's a very interesting subject to me.

All they have to do is give up their productive careers and move to some suburb like Youngsville, baw.
