Your logic is sound.... the ones that rape, kill, maim, and other horrific acts, probably aren't very logical. Or stupid. They would get whomever they want to, in a way that no direct evidence tied em to it. Not in the middle of a street, head up, old west style.

Just like when Fast and Furious came out. All of a sudden everyone was a fake mechanic/ street racer with a shitty Japanese car that sounded like a weedeater. Now you have all these weekend warriors with vests who lay their harleys down in the Hooters parking lot.

Back in the 90's when HD couldn't keep up with the demand due to RUB's (Rich Urban Bikers) as in lawyers, doctors, CEO's, etc. buying their bikes for the "Bad Boy" image, I had a few friends that made a shitload of money.

They go into a HD shop with $30K and put $5K down each of 6 bikes and there was a backlog on orders. When they'd get the call that the bikes were going to be delivered, they'd take the bike and immediately advertise it for sale and get up to $5K over MSRP so some lawyer, Dr., CEO, etc. didn't have to wait 6 months to take delivery on his bike.

ETA: Those days are now long gone and HD is in serious trouble since their target group is getting too old to ride and younger people are not buying into the HD image.

The only thing that I don't really understand is that people are perceived based on how they dress. There is a certain image people have of "thugs" and it doesn't matter if someone isn't a thug, if they dress a certain way, they will be perceived a certain way..

All of these motorcycle clubs wear their leather and dress like biker gangs, but they are defensive when people perceive them to be like the biker gangs they see on TV.. They make sure that they are nothing like them and that they do good things for people, etc.

Is there not another way to dress if you are in a biker club?

Can't blame Harley for chasing the easy money selling fat suburban fricks $25k bikes and $10k for their SOA starter kit but those days are gone.

Harley needs to make an 88 CI Superglide and sell it for $10k.

I tried to buy a Harley about 5 years ago. The salesman told me my wife wasn't fat or ugly enough to ride one. He was right.

Law enforcement pretty much orchestrated the Twin Peaks fight thinking that it would just be a brawl and bolster their case against the Bandidos. That whole situation was easily preventable.
