What if she released him from jail so the family of the 8 yr old could give him some real justice?

I thought rape was a mandatory life sentence as well, which begs the questions:
1. why there is a sentencing hearing at all?
2. If someone has been convicted of a crime that has a mandatory life sentence, how is it legal for a judge to order them to not be in jail/prison? What part of mandatory am I missing?

What you are missing is that NBR elected mob and their cronies have little to ZERO fear they will actually be held ACCOUNTABLE for their conspiracies, misdeeds and jack-assery.
Their voting bloc is far too moronic to do ANYTHING about it and the state, atty.general and D.A.'s office are too scared of black voter back-lash, to really do much about this bunch of arse-holes !
I mean we have judge don johnson presiding over embarrassments like judy white and janice clark. Then, tarsha amir thief clark and bonnie jackson hiding behind the skirts of white and clark...CAO chair dumas declaring he's an EBR resident, then resigns over the open meetings snafu....this crap just goes on and on and on !

Do you think all judges bat 1.000?
Highly doubt it. It's a "compassionate". It highly questionable move by her and one she will and should get backlash for. I'm worried about the precedent.
I'm also not one for "what about if it were your kid." I try not to live my life that self centered and that self absorbed to the point where I change my mind if it effects me directly. buts it's also impossible for me to say exactly how I'd feel if I were the parent.

Electric ankle bracelet is not enough -- he needs 24 hour police surveillance until June 1st.
If this goes wrong, meaning he commits another crime, this is on her hands. Not sure why she would take such a risk on this case...
Connections?

Let's hope it goes well mainly for the victim and for the people living in that community.
I guess this is why we have the second amendment

That's called prison, which is where he should be

You're being more phony than usual, today.

What's gonna be your pathetic excuse when this monster rapes another child.
Do you have any idea of the recidivism rates?
The world would be a better place if someone fed a lead lunch to this subhuman vermin.
And hopefully Father Time gives Terrible Trudy her juste deserts soon.

StrongSafety is a caricature of himself. He is so far into racial hatred and revenge that he isn't even a real person anymore.

Papa Doc or Rachael Dolezeal. Which one is he?

If Gary chambers really cared about justice he'd be all over this.
The political machine cottage industry here in BR won't allow. No authentic, Chandra Banks approved black person would dare criticize Judge White.

Odds on whether or not that little girl's family gives him a Plaucheing?

I don't softball with any, so I don't know. I do know that White is corrupt as frick and made an epically bad decision here. frick compassion, my uncle was in prison as both of his parents died. He got himself put there and didn't expect special treatment. He also didn't rape an eight year old girl. As a matter of fact, he didn't hurt anyone.

Agg Rape is mandatory life without parole. There is still a sentencing hearing but it's a formality. The judge has no discretion on sentencing. But usually the defense lawyer files various motions before the sentencing. I've never in my life heard of a judge releasing someone AFTER a conviction for a crime like this. I didn't even know it was legal. Well technically she didn't release him. She gave him a low bond. Still amazing.
This guy has no incentive to turn himself in and should try to flee the country, unless there's some good reason he thinks his case will be overturned on appeal.

Not sure what plaucheing is but hoping the father gets the chance to try out vertical impalement on this one.
