Judges down there have a strange way of doing things. This is just another reason why I am happy that we do not elect judges here. That "campaign" picture is an abomination.

I hope that 8 yr old doesn't realize this guys out. I can't imagine the damage done, much less passing him on the street and thinking he didn't get punished for it.

And the whole "I don't want to look at it as if it was my daughter" is a dangerous line of thinking. If you don't have empathy then what's the point in having laws? Say Some guy runs up and blows some dudes brains out next to you. You just going to continue on about your day because it wasn't you?
