Maybe some people just like roller coasters?

Wife and I went to Disney and Universal earlier this year and had an amazing time. Neither of us had been since we were kids, and we aren't making it an annual thing. Would be fun to go back with a group, but it won't be a regular destination for us, mostly because we'd rather go somewhere new or different every year.

Spend the extra money at Universal for the express pass . Won’t have to wait in the long lines .

Hey honey, do you want to go spend a week on the Amalfi Coast in Italy, or go to a theme park in Orlando?

Oh!!! Let’s go see the mouse!

I’ll never understand it.

What the hell is wrong with these people

They enjoy going to those places. Perhaps they don't want kids or can't have kids....(maybe suggest to them to kidnap some kids to bring so it doesn't look as odd).

Does them going to Disney/Universal get you so worked up that you had to come on here and start a thread about it?

The roller coaster wouldn’t fit in my back yard.

Growing number of adults that go on their kids senior trips is much worse, FB is littered with it.

One is an easy/quick/cheap 1.5 hour flight on Southwest, the other is not.

alot of those people grew up poor AF or without parents and have dreamed of one day having a job to allow them to relive their childhood the way they dreamed.

not my thing but i get it. and disney is fun if you allow it to be. epcot can be a blast as an adult.

I just wanted to eat at the restaurant in the Mexico ride that you see when you rode the boat through but my parents would never take us.

You have got to be a frickin' Democrat! With all your complaining about what other folks are doing...and really, it's none of your business what grown ups do, I hope the bloodline ends with you cause if your offspring thinks like you they're shitheads, too.

If your kids are tall enough to ride roller coasters where you have to go through metal detectors and no loose shoes, they can wait with the adults.

I know some people that go a few times a year with their teenage children. They also wonder why their kids aren't mentally and emotionally mature.

Imagine thinking your opinion on what other people do for leisure was important enough to take time to post a thread about it. Did you never grow up or mature for some reason that you think your option matters to anyone else about how they chose to enjoy themselves?
