It looks like that snotbox definitely was broken a few times. Apparently, she was told more than twice.

Why would you need to leave the store when you could just go “up” the next aisle then back “down” the aisle you were in?

I definitely went the wrong way on the aisle the other day and the guy restocking fussed me and made me turn around. I felt bad but it truly was a an issue of muscle memory. That was the first time I had been there since that policy has been in place so I just truly wasn't thinking about it, I was just trying to get in and out as quickly as possible.

For the record, though, I am also a terrible driver, so I don't find it surprising that I fricked it up.

Some guy was ranting on my Nextdoor last night that he was "embarrassed to live in Louisiana because nobody listens to the rules, dammit!“

I think it’s fantastic. Always have some a-hole blocking the isle looking at nutrition numbers on a box of crackers.

lo and behold

The word 'lo' as used in this phrase is a shortening of 'look'. So, lo and behold! has the meaning of look! - behold!.

I'm doing the 6ft thing and trying to be respectful of others. I brought my kid to the store yesterday and asked her to as well except for with me of course. I haven't been wearing a mask or anything though.
I'm not sure why somebody downvoted this, but I'd be curious as to hear his/her reasoning of what exactly they disagree with in this. That's pretty much what most decent people I've encountered have done. Give each other space, and try to be respectful. In other words, be mature about the whole thing.

I was that guy yesterday. Didn’t realize they had implemented it and didn’t see the arrows they had taped on the floor. Realized it about halfway into my trip.

Well if you read the OT, you'll quickly spot the dumbasses responsible for LA being the #4 state in the country for coronavirus.

There’s so many things implemented that make zero sense. We have to take our country back. One way aisles doesn’t prevent anybody from getting Coronavirus, it just makes shopping more of a hassle. And it seems companies are thing to one-up each other on who can come up with the most outlandish new rules

As others have said, my shopping experience was better. I just observed the idiots who couldn't follow arrows. People are awful about being ignorant to how they're blocking an aisle. This made that inconvenience disappear.

Quite literally just got back from the grocery where I was yelled at by a woman for me not obeying the one way sign as I looked at spaghetti sauce. This woman was standing at the complete other end of the aisle, mind you.

I was in this grocery four days ago and these signs didn't exist, so I quite truthfully didn't even notice them.

I normally wouldn't care if she had just told me something like "hey, I'm sure you didn't see the sign on the floor because they are hard to notice and new. But they've gone one way aisle shopping. Just wanted to give you a head's up."

I would have politely thanked her for pointing it out to me.

But nope - she had to be a rude a-hole about it.

I guess we must be getting back to normal society where civility, compassion and "we're all in this together" is waning off and the finger wagging, everyday shitheads are back to being their normal selves.
