Kepler’s Astronautics Division Head and Senior Scientist is Dr. John Brandenburg Ph.D. Dr. Brandenburg is a plasma physicist and got his BA in Physics from Southern Oregon University in Ashland, Oregon, his MS in Applied Science at University of California at Davis and his Ph.D. in Theoretical Plasma Physics at the UC Davis extension campus at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory in Livermore, California. The title of his thesis was A Theoretical Model of a Reversed Field Ion Layer Made of Monoenergetic Ions. Its topic was magnetic confinement of plasmas for controlled nuclear fusion.
Dr. Brandenburg has held positions in a variety of high-tech companies specializing in plasma physics: Mission Research Corporation, Sandia National Laboratories, Research Support Instruments (RSI), The Aerospace Corporation, Florida Space Institute, and Orbital Technologies in Madison, Wisconsin. His work encompassed studies of the microwave electrothermal plasma thruster for space propulsion, rocket plume-regolith interactions on the Moon and Mars, vortex theory of rocket engine design, and Kaluza-Klein theory of field unification for purposes of space propulsion. He is a part-time instructor of Astronomy, Physics and Mathematics at Madison College, Wisconsin and most recently at Cal State Fullerton assisting Professor James Woodward and his team. Dr. Brandenburg will be managing Kepler’s newly opened Laboratory and Research Center located in Brea, California.
Sounds great
But Hol' up
He also believes there's evidence of thermonuclear war on Mars

Sounds wacky, but you've established enough credibility for him that nobody on this board should write it off before hearing him out.
Eta
Using a podcast episode that is a year old with only 11k views has piqued my interest. Are you a listener or was that in a Google search?

No kidding I can overcome the entire Earth’s gravity with a magnet off my fridge.
Posted on 9/2/24 at 10:38 pm to GRTiger
Just a Google search. I think I've listened to him a few times though.

Nice. I'm probably going to end up listening to that

This dude isn’t a scientist.
Paging the PT board.
Paging the PT board.

calling absolute bullshite because he doesn’t supply inverse reactive current for use in unilateral phase detractors that should also be capable of automatically synchronizing cardinal grammeters.
Yep, exactly what I was thinking?

The people of Golden Meadow, Bayou Blue, and Boothville eagerly await this science coming to their communities..
Posted on 9/2/24 at 11:03 pm to hawgfaninc
How is this different from superconductors?
Posted on 9/2/24 at 11:06 pm to hawgfaninc
There’s no such thing as gravity, the whole world sucks…

So they can float their trailers somewhere better?
Posted on 9/2/24 at 11:57 pm to hawgfaninc
Yeah, but did you read his paper on thermionic transconductance?

Tesla probably did this over a hundred years ago
He was able to build this in a cave with scraps

Exactly what I was thinking

The only new principle involved is that instead of power being generated by the relative motion of conductors and fluxes, it is produced by the modial interaction of magneto-reluctance and capacitive diractance.
How many marzlevanes, would need to be fitted to the ambifacient lunar waneshaft to effectively prevent side fumbling?

Maybe they could build a great pyramid one day suing this. Wait! Just how did they cut those giant stones out of solid rock and move them that far, using nothing more than a hammer and a chisel? Was metal iron being used at that time? How would they get it hot enough to smelt the ore? Maybe we should learn from the past.

Sounds like a scientist to me

Dude sounds like real life Sheldon Cooper.

Super conductors do that as well
Posted on 9/3/24 at 5:43 am to hawgfaninc
This dude must be walking on air today.
