Got quite the scare today

My wife and girls left today for a trip. I’m always a bit nervous when they leave for a trip of some distance, and they were supposed to arrive around 2:00.
I had meetings but noticed about 3:30 that I had not heard from them. Around 4:00, I had not been able to reach them and my cameras picked up someone at my door.
Official looking person in shirt and tie with a badge. Left a card. My mind raced to the worst feelings a father can feel. I raced home frantically trying to call my wife. As I was pulling into my neighborhood my wife finally called me back. They had been in a museum and had silenced their phones.
The card left was a guy from OPM doing a background check on a neighbor.
Freaked me out.

Your post will probably get the usual responses that you would expect from 20-25 year old virgins that live vicariously through "BBC", but as for myself, I'm not going to kid you...that would have scared the hell out me.

I believe that's SOP, unless he had access to their bodies, in which case he'd leave them on the porch with a note attached.

I do have a weakness for my family that sometimes rational thought rarely factors.
