See I would feel bad for you if you made one mistake and confessed, but you're only upset because you got caught and hosed.

You cheated for 2.5 fricking years after repeatedly being caught. I think you should spend about a year or more growing up before you try to drag anyone else into your life that you will inevitably hurt with your bad decisions.

TLDR: quit being a selfish a-hole and fix yourself before trying to meet anyone else.

I have not been in your situation, but I do understand that people make mistakes and sometimes those mistakes are more than we can handle. I have made my share of mistakes and have had to really access my life situation. Perhaps Ill post the link to my story at a later time.

But bottomline, It is never too late to move forward and start over. I not saying it will ever be easy, especially considering the lives involved. However it is possible for you to find redemption.

As for meeting a new social group, perhaps try relocating to an area where you can still go to work, yet is out of reach of anyone who you know directly. Try hanging out at different locales that your friends may not be affiliated with. The key is "where can I go that my friends dont usually visit."

At some point, you have to confront those who you are uncomfortable with. But as a start, try to be incognito in your actions.
