People make mistakes, quit beating yourself up over it. You can't turn back time. We're all impulsive at times for one reason or another. People cheat their spouse with more than just sexual affairs.

With that said, look for another job and take up a new hobby. You'd be amazed the cool people you'll find by taking up something as simple as biking or hiking. The new job will give you a clean perspective. The worst thing you can do is remain down and out about a mistake. Learn from it and you'll live a happier life than before, as you'll know what's really important when a moment of weakness arises.
